Linux isn’t perfect… but this can make it good enough | Gaming VMs



You might want to switch from Windows to Linux, but have some software that just *needs* Windows. You could dual-boot, or could just decide it’s not time for linux yet, but you can also setup a virtual machine. Even with just one GPU, you can pass through your hardware to a virtualised windows install with QEMU/KVM, and get almost native performance. Though, there are some (solvable) issues to do with usability, like USB hotplug, and anticheat problems.
