I have a similar laptop using unmineable as well. I figured out I get better hash rates when I minimize the unmineable application.
If you believe what the non-mining tech tubers are saying, there is already a new mining boom, lol. Only they're coming after your high end CPUs now…
Kapow is the devil.. i get that its really asic resistant.. but because of the way its designed.. well its designed too use the computing power from all parts of the gpu not just high memory bandwidth like ethhash. I know people are buying amd cards to mine kapow on them but its super unstable at leaste on all of my 5700xts and 5600xts, even though they are pretty profitable i have constant crashes and its actually killed two cards.. inverslely my 3070s, and 3060s are chugging away at Kapow with no problems.. thank god zelhash is and other algos are more profitable right now because my amd miners will actually mine with no issues.
Have you tried the Flux POUW yet? looking for more info on it

Would love to see what you could do with these different combos in regards to BOINC projects. I use a lot of laptops in my research farm and they can do some work when set up correctly.
Laptops have major issues. If its an nvidia. Chances are it comes equipped with optimus. Which means the bandwidth shrinks even more meaning after the nvida GPU does 70% render the rest is sent off to the integrated graphics from the intel cpu.
Its horrible engineering. But the laptop gPU will live longer under thermal stress.
Its suppose to cut down on power consumption.
