  1. Link to the RX 7900 XTX for $799.99 https://howl.me/cl43VVgKDY7
Keep in mind it does require the Zip payment method which could be annoying.

1 shop receives 200 melted connectors

on the total of 4090's, that's not high

but it's 200 at ONE SHOP!!!

🎉Every gpu is still overpriced by 50% or more

Nice to see the 7700XT drop for others. I bought it for 460 Euros on release date… didn't give me any problems so im not complaining

Thanks for the German Price News 🙂

Intel says, " Pesky NVIDIA GPU, You wouldn't be out of video memory if you had a Intel GPU as well :D"

The fact that AMD 7000 and Nvidia 4000 cards are selling AT or even BELOW MSRP, tells you how horribly overpriced they are in the first place. You're getting MUCH LESS GPU with this generation (from both Nvidia and AMD) because their product stack is shifted by 1-2 tiers. And then they wonder why they had the worst sales quarter in over 20 years. Gee, I wonder why. 🤔 They don't understand that people don't like getting fleeced. I'm still rocking a 1070 from 2016. My next GPU is probably going to be an Intel GPU. Because Nvidia's and AMD's behaviour should not be rewarded. And I still have so many older games I wanna finish. I couldn't care less about their upcoming GPUs. Especially after hearing that the 70-class is gonna have 192-bit bus AGAIN! 😠 Which means 12GB again. Instead of 256-bit (which would have allowed for 16GB). Nvidia can suck it.

Jawohl günstigere Preise in Deutschland. Dankeschoen fuer den Bericht.

Daniel, you should watch some of videos from NorthRidgeFix's videos where he shows some fully plugged in cables that have melted on 4090's.

If something says 399.99 its still 400 this is a classic old marketing trick to make the consumer think they are saving money. Just for a penny!

You will see the MSRP will come down real fast on next gen GPU or the MSRP will be reasonable unlike 4000 series. The pandemic shortage was filled by Nvidia 30 series their counterparts from AMD and intel. That is the reason 4000 series did not sell that well (source : a friend of mine works at the importer and distributors in my country) and the fact they are highly overpriced. Nvidia thought the demand will be like that forever until they create artificial shortage like OPEC we are all good.

im in teh SFF camp now.. i dont need TOP END

4090s arent near below MSRP in Germany 🙂

6800 vs 7700XT teh 6800 is also a smaller card on AMD reference design 6800 AMD reference are 2 slot 267mm long and fit ina velkase velka 7 ITX easy AS F**K why i have 5x of them.. i build smaller high end ish systems with X3D (5800X3D or 7800X3D) and hellova system

NO ISSUES ON AMD zen 4 am5 and AM4 AHHAHAH

the gains that you get from oc your cpu is miniscule
got 12700 and 13700 none k no problems and they don't pull 200-300w, in fact they are more efficient than am 4-5 in gaming especially on higher resolutions, also run much cooler while ironically being rated as 120w , where ryzen 5 7600-7800 are run hot no matter what you do, unless you live in Siberia or something
it took am 5 to get rid of micro stutter and bios issues after about 2 years since launch with their latest chipset drivers lulz

You almost got through a video without criticising AMD… almost.

The release date for the 3090Ti was March 29th, 2022. Why haven't we had a 4090Ti yet? That leads me to believe that there might not be a 50 series release in 2024, and maybe we get a 4090Ti in September or October?

I heard my 360 AIO ramping up when compiling shaders but it has been rock solid till now (14700KF).
Both PL1/2 limits and unlimited have been fine, temps are very good with a 360 AIO and contact frame 👍🏻

I am having checkerboard issues for months now in YouTube and Chrome and was worried may be hardware or graphics driver but now that I see this video it must be those windows updates.

8GB is sufficient for many tasks, if not most tasks, if you are not bloating your system or installing crap software. Yeah apple is royally overpriced, specially with such bad hardware, but 8GB was enough to run your browser, teamspeak, 1-2 chat-programs, recording-software and your game all at once.
And nowadays you see software being so stupidly bad that even on an 8core machine with 32 GB memory it takes forever to do the simplest task like cropping an image.

  22. blank

More and more sites are coming up with ways to mitigate the problem – and basically all of them are "Disable all those crappy auto-overclocks".
I have been saying this for years but Intel reeeaaalllyyyyy needs to put the motherboards back in order – they are frying the systems with insanely high voltages and all-around bad settings. Seriously. MSI for example is applying over 100mV overvoltage by default.

  23. blank

Hello, I live in one such country under sanctions. And there is no problem buying 4090. And in general, you can buy as many 4090 as you like without any problems. How can the USA prohibit the sale of 4090 to the main consumer in the world? They want the 5090 to cost $10,000? If China abandons Nvidia, Huang will be in a difficult position. And yet, yes, China will soon abandon Nvidia Amd and Intel, they are already close to this.

Anyone having ryzen CPU issues 😢

Daniel, I do not watch every video, but I do highly appreciate you for your work and for giving me a lot of knowledge about technology. Thank you very much. Always will be there to support you!

The issue of the melting RTX 4090 Powerconnector is the connector and insane Groundloops inside the PC. "igorslab" found this out and did his measurements. Copy/paste or type into google "igorslab Ground on the wrong track: Why only certain power connector pins melt and we should rethink PCs". So it is also dependent on the motherboard PCB groundplane, the type of case (bare metal or coated) the PSU (has connection to the case or not) and if you use extensioncables on the GPU. So it is a combination of things wich make it harder for the negative pole to do its job. Look at the Picture at page 3:
The Powerconnector gets 19,8 A (+) and only returns 8,7 A (GND) that is why only the + side burns.
Still the powerconnector is the main problem so powerlimit the GPU and limit the FPS to prevent that burnout.

Battlemage releasing late means they are forced to be good price.

  28. blank

13600k I limited ICCmax to 260A and all problems went away. Fully stable with 24/7 OC on Prime Z790A. IMHO cpus are fine – it's Bios 'default' settings messing stability.

  29. blank

I am watching this guy and he made me to not buy a RTX 4090, i was one step to get one, instead i waited and i got a RTX 4080 Super later at a much better price. If you do not listen to the guy from the hardware service than you are lost. I doge a bullet there.

  30. blank

The 50 series using same die as 40 is a pass for me and that gives me hope for Battlemage

  31. blank

Even though I have a RX6600 I'm excited for the next Battlemage GPU and I think it's about price mostly if they can match AMDs mid range at a lower price and if they continue to improve drivers for older titles they will sell. And I hope we see far more 3rd party making them as well and ignore that Nvidia threat

  32. blank

Brian from Tech YES City has done a good video on this issue, he has also been blacklisted by Intel over it.

I highly suggest to watch his video, but it seems to be a I/O issue which is mainly due to how Intel and it's chiplet design has been done, basically in layman's terms it's like an engine and a fuel pump, and the fuel pump can't maintain the engine, the engine will work but will cut out due to lack of fuel.

  33. blank

Apple shipping expensive laptops with 8GB of RAM makes the 8GB of VRAM issue on GPU's look moot even though it isn't moot at all …

  34. blank

My case doesn’t have room to connect it without it bending from far enough away from the connector itself. It’d stick out of my case by almost an inch.
