How To Set Up Linux Mint 19.3 For Gaming – Proton / Lutris / Wine / DXVK / Esync / Gamemode

STEP 1 – INSTALL LATEST GPU DRIVER

STEP 2 – ENABLE ESYNC

STEP 3 – INSTALL LATEST VERSION OF WINE

STEP 4 – INSTALL LUTRIS

STEP 5 – INSTALL STEAM AND ENABLE PROTON FOR ALL GAMES

Open a Terminal and run the following command:

sudo apt install steam

Once installed, sign in and navigate to Steam / Settings / Steam Play, tick the ‘Enable Steam Play for all other titles’ and click OK once done.

STEP 6 – INSTALL GAMEMODE
