great LG monitor

Just a couple months ago i replaced my gpu, cpu, motherboard and ram with much more recent companatnts.
I was still using a stock cpu cooler that costs 10 cents to cool my i7-11700k…
I thought he left the sticker on the cooler. I did that when I built mine last week. Even after telling myself over and over 'dont forget to take off the sticker, dont forget to take off the sticker'… wasnt even my first cooler install… just my first full build. Figures the one thing I screwed up was the one thing I had actually done before lol
My first guess was the cpu cooler had the sticker still on.
I had a customer do the same thing. He used the wrong stand-off screws. This is what creates no contact.

I think bad installation is probably the most common issue of pc building, that and leaving the sticker over the cold plate.
