Compiz might appear broken after upgrading Linux Mint 20 to 20.1
It is simple to fix with a few options on how to do just that. I did this on the Mate desktop however it should be the same on Xfce.
This wont apply to fresh installs of Linux Mint 20.1 or Cinnamon.
