This is a multi track cover consisting of five tracks. I recorded all tracks through my #cyberpower gaming PC. (No gaming for me I only bought a gaming computer for music since it’s a powerful PC)
I’m using #cakewalk to capture the tracks and position them within the project. After I’m done getting tracks in the PC and positioned in cakewalk I move the project to #bandlab for mastering and saving the project to an online platform so I can access them anywhere.
I am running all of my instruments and microphones (vocal and lollipop mics) through a #mackiegear Fx12v2 pro mixer for the USB access to the PC. (Makes life real simple)
The #ROLAND V SERIES electronic drums have an awesome head unit that allows me to capture the drumming to an SD card where I save the file and transfer to the PC so I can place it in the multi track project in CAKEWALK.
Track 1- #seagullguitars entourage acoustic electric guitar in open G tuning and capo 3. This is the way its recorded in the studio by lanco. So I kept it the same.
Track 2- #akgmicrophones P-120 microphone for my vocals. Very light compression and some EQ adjustment to get more crisp mids in the vocals.
Track 3- #ibanezsoundgear bass guitar. Standard tuning.
Track 4- #rolandvdrums studio kit preset.
Track 5- #epiphoneguitar SG with the bridge adjusted up for high action. This guitar was setup for the slide guitar parts and is also in open G tuning.
I do not have a pedal for volume for the slide guitar so I could not get the swells that are in the original recording by lanco
