HP EliteDesk 800 G1 4 Beeps Not turning on – Motherboard Repair / Super IO Replacement
When plugged in, this HP EliteDesk 800 G1 will turn on almost immediately and beep 4 times, indicating a fatal error that prevents the computer from starting. When I found out a red wire is sticking out, measured for shorts on that rail (5V), then measuring the power supply I came to a conclusion that motherboard is the problem and not the power supply, since the power supply had it’s voltages present when plugged out of the motherboard.
Enjoy 🙂
